On April 3, 2024, Attorney John Gardella will speak in Manhattan at the Practising Law Institute’s (PLI) Manufacturing and Consumer Products Law Institute 2024. John’s presentation is titled “PFAS: 2024’s Greatest Manufacturing & Consumer Products Business Risk and Disruptor”, and will focus on federal regulations, state regulations, litigation trends, and the impact each is having on business interruption for companies. John’s presentation will take place on April 3, 2024 at 1:30pm ET. CMBG3 Law’s Elizabeth Bain is co-Chairing the conference as a member of PLI.

PLI describes its conference content as follows:

“As manufacturing sectors continue to be shaped by digital developments, diverse, global supply chains, and sustainability goals, consumer expectations of transparency in the source, safety, and efficacy of products have likewise evolved—making corporate responsibility and company disclosure obligations more paramount.

Likewise, regulatory oversight by agencies such as the CPSC, FTC and NHTSA has become even more complex and far-reaching along manufacturing distribution channels. Successful attorneys, then, must be well-prepared to serve as their clients’ resource of first resort for guidance on the laws governing the labeling, marketing, and monitoring of consumer products, and to provide informed guidance on what to do when things go wrong.”
