Overview
Megan S. Farrell is Senior Counsel at CMBG3 Law and licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Meg is part of CMBG3’s National Coordinating Counsel team, serving as counsel for an internationally prominent manufacturer, overseeing their nationwide product liability, personal injury, and wrongful death claims stemming from alleged toxic tort exposure. She has over a decade of legal experience and has been involved in all phases of civil litigation from pre-suit negotiations through successful jury verdicts. She has extensive experience in researching and drafting dispositive motions, conducting depositions, settlement negotiations, as well as trial strategy, preparation, and defense. Meg is also part of CMBG3’s Trial Leadership Team.
Meg has spent much of her legal career defending companies nationally, including being part of various National Coordinating Counsel teams in asbestos and talc litigation. As a result, she has a deep understanding of toxic tort litigation especially, including knowledge of the relevant science, law, as well as relationships and experience with the experts, counsel, and courts involved in this area of law. She has also been involved as local counsel in various matters that range in variety including torts, products liability, insurance claims, landlord tenant disputes, contract negotiations, federal compliance, and more, as well as various pro bono matters.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Meg worked for four years as a paralegal at two separate well-established defense firms in Boston while attending law school full time in the evenings. The experience and relationships gained as a paralegal have been essential to her practice as an attorney.
Outside of the office, Meg enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and four animals in Charlotte, North Carolina. She also enjoys golfing, reading, working out, and is an avid New England Patriots fan.
