Elizabeth Carpenter

Overview

Elizabeth Carpenter is an Attorney at CMBG₃ Law and is licensed to practice in California and New York. An experienced trial attorney, Elizabeth represents clients in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, including product liability, toxic tort, asbestos and talc litigation, and insurance defense. She is passionate about representing her client’s interests, working diligently to analyze case merits, minimize risk, and propel favorable resolutions to complex legal matters. Elizabeth has represented clients ranging from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 100 and Fortune Global 500 companies in a wide variety of circumstances, including pre-litigation conflict resolution, mediation, and trial. She has a proven record of success in achieving case dismissals, advantageous settlements, and favorable verdicts.

Prior to joining CMBG₃, Elizabeth was a commercial litigator in the Los Angeles office of an AMLAW 100 law firm. Elizabeth has also gained significant experience in toxic tort defense while a partner at an AMLAW 500 law firm, where she managed a case load of asbestos and talc claims across the country, served as second-chair on numerous jury trials in California and Washington, and supervised several associate-level attorneys. Before that, she litigated child abuse and neglect cases as a first-chair in the Kings County Family Court on behalf of the City of New York.

Outside of the office, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and rooting for the local baseball team.
