Elias Baldwin

Overview

Elias Baldwin is an Associate at CMBG3 and licensed to practice in California. Before joining the firm, he worked for three different judges assigned to the Complex Civil Division of the Superior Court for the County of Los Angeles, first as a law clerk and then as a research attorney. He worked on a wide variety of issues and cases in his nearly six years with the court, ranging from billion-dollar insurance-coverage disputes to wage-and-hour class actions, from civil rights litigation to mass torts involving novel scientific issues and evidence. Several orders and judgments that he worked on were affirmed by the California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court. By helping trial judges resolve difficult and unprecedented legal questions, Elias helped contribute to the development of California law, particularly in the fields of arbitration, class action procedure, and labor law.

Outside of the office, Elias enjoys birdwatching, history, and collecting books.
