John Gardella Invited By Natural Resource Management Group To Lead PFAS Discussions

John Gardella was invited by the Ad-Hoc Industry Natural Resource Management Group to co-lead breakout group discussions among members at the PFAS/NRD Best Practice Approach Workshop. The event will take place in New York on March 12, 2024 from 10am until 4pm. Over the past few years, the group has worked to create a PFAS Best Practice Approach Framework, which sets out to help professionals and companies  navigate managing PFAS risk issues related to natural resources protection. The Workshop will hold discussions regarding the Framework and lead participants through two hypotheticals to determine the strong points and areas for improvement in the Framework through dialogue.

The Ad-Hoc Industry Natural Resource Management Group’s members is comprised of major multi-national companies in a wide range of sectors, and is “singularly focused on the interface between Natural Resources and diverse industrial, energy, and transportation activities….By ‘activities’, we mean the full gamut of natural resource issues that can arise for companies in diverse sectors from preventative action to liability containment to resource restoration, conservation and optimization to biodiversity and sustainability.”
