Kendra Bergeron To Participate In Rhode Island Law Day

Mar 23, 2022 | News

Kendra Bergeron will participate in the Rhode Island Law Day event on May 6, 2022, which is produced by the Rhode Island Law Day Committee, representing the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Rhode Island Judiciary, the Rhode Island Police Chief’s Association, the Rhode Island Department of Education and the Roger Williams University School of Law.

The Rhode Island Law Day is an annual program for local 7th through 12th grade students, which aims to engage students in the discussion of fundamental American legal principles and civic traditions. This year’s topic, Toward a More Perfect Union: The Constitution in Times of Change, will explore the Constitution that not only outlines a blueprint for government, but also delegates power, articulates rights, and offers mechanisms for change. Kendra will be paired with a Rhode Island judge to help the students celebrate the role of law in our society and to cultivate a deeper understanding of the legal profession.
