On May 22, 2024, CMBG3 team members Madison Sarka, Tori Holtman, Veronica Lee, Jamie Strong and John Gardella volunteered part of their afternoon to place flags on the hillside of the Boston Common as part of an initiative by the Home Base and Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund to honor fallen servicemen and women for Memorial Day. A flag is placed in the ground for every person from Massachusetts who has died serving their country since the time of the Revolutionary War. This year, over 37,000 flags were placed by over 600 volunteers from the community. The flags were on display throughout the Memorial Day weekend so visitors could pay their silent respect to the fallen soldiers. The firm was also proud to be a sponsor of this year’s event to help support the wonderful work of both Home Base and the Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund.
