CMBG3 Supports Bread of Life On Christmas Day

Dec 29, 2022 | Community Involvement

On Christmas Day, Bryna Misiura, David Goldman, and Daria Afshar volunteered their time to support the efforts of Bread of Life at the Malden High School. Bread of Life is an organization that serves communities north of Boston with the goal to feed those in need or who are homeless. Its Christmas Day event has now taken place for over 30 years!

This year, the Christmas Day drive had over 100 volunteers and was able to provide warm, freshly cooked meals to over 1100 individuals in the communities north of Boston. Volunteers cooked, packed, and delivered meals on Christmas day as well as many volunteers collected donations in the days leading up to the meal. Hundreds of others were given warm meals on site by volunteers.

NBC News covered the event and a link to the coverage can be found here:

In addition to Bryna and David, Safiyyah Guzman, Hope Neault, and Jamie Rajotte-Tremblay volunteered their time to take phone calls from people requesting meals, and helped keep the ever-important delivery list for Christmas Day.

CMBG3 is committed to supporting our community and giving back through out CMBG3 Cares program, an initiative that ensures that every month, our team members have a way to volunteer their time to our community or make a contribution in some way to those in need.
