CMBG3 Leads PPE Drives In Boston and California

May 13, 2020 | Community Involvement

A core value of CMBG3 since our start was giving back to our communities and doing charitable work. It is very much part of the fabric of who we are.

In April, we adjusted our original community service plans due to Covid-19 and started a PPE fund drive. Thanks to the generosity of so many supporters and a contribution on behalf of the firm, we were able to purchase and deliver 2,000 pairs of latex free gloves, 500 medical gowns, and 500 face shields to hospitals in Boston and Irvine, California. These items will go directly to our front line workers during the Covid-19 pandemic, to ensure that they remain safe while continuing to do the incredible job that they are doing to help those who are very much in need.

Several members of our team also supported children undergoing treatment at Boston Childrens’ Hospital who may be unable to receive visitors (or at most, one parent) due to the pandemic.  We did this by sending e-cards to the children.  Finally, several team members also sent virtual “high fives” to the medical front line workers at Boston Childrens’ Hospital to show support for all of their incredible work.

CMBG3 is committed to supporting our community and giving back through out CMBG3 Cares program, an initiative that ensures that every month, our team members have a way to volunteer their time to our community or make a contribution in some way to those in need.  If you would like more information about our community and charitable giving programs, please contact John Gardella (jgardella@cmbg3.com).
