CMBG3 Cares Acts To Empower Young Girls

Aug 26, 2020 | Community Involvement

CMBG3 recognizes and honors Women’s Equality Day, and the courageous and hard-fought efforts that suffragists undertook over 150 years in order to give all women in this country the right to vote via the 19th Amendment and the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

This year, we are making a donation to the Room to Read Foundation, which directly pays for young girls in developing countries to receive education, empower them, and enable them to break down biases and inequalities that exist in their countries. Through our donation, we will be able to send 40 young girls to school for an entire year.

In addition, we are making a donation to the Malala Fund. The organization supports the work of education champions in developing countries – a critical component in these countries to ensuring that change is effectuated and progress happens quicker so that young girls can continue to receive their education and gain steps towards equality in their countries.

CMBG3 is committed to supporting our community and giving back through out CMBG3 Cares program, an initiative that ensures that every month, our team members have a way to volunteer their time to our community or make a contribution in some way to those in need.  If you would like more information about our community and charitable giving programs, please contact John Gardella (jgardella@cmbg3.com) or visit the CMBG3 Cares page.
