On November 5th, CMBG3 attorneys David Goldman and Seta Accaoui presented to the Central Falls High School (Rhode Island) Youth and Law students about pursuing legal careers, what a legal track looks like and the state of diversity, equity and inclusion within the profession.
They also discussed CMBG3 Law’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’s $5,000 scholarship opportunity for a Central Falls High School student that comes from an underrepresented group with a strong interest in pursuing a legal career and who is committed to a four year college program. This scholarship will come with networking and mentorship opportunities as well. The students will write an essay and engage in one-on-one interviews with David and Seta and one student will then be selected for the scholarship.
Thank you to Central Falls Mayor Maria Rivera, a classmate in David and Seta’s Leadership Rhode Island class, for working with CMBG3 to facilitate the awarding of this scholarship.
