John Gardella Interviewed By Bloomberg On PFAS

Nov 2, 2021 | Environmental, News, PFAS

Attorney John Gardella  was recently interviewed by Pat Rizzuto, reporter for Bloomberg Law, for her article regarding changes that appear to be coming to the Restatement (Third) of Torts with respect to explicit support for medical monitoring lawsuits, even in the absence of underlying realized injuries by the plaintiffs. Ms. Rizzuto is a Senior Chemicals’ Reporter for Bloomberg Law that has closely following and published on PFAS issues for several years. Ms. Rizzuto’s article examines in detail two important factors important to PFAS medical monitoring issues – the judicial system’s treatment of medical monitoring claims to date and the lack of knowledge within the medical community regarding PFAS and testing options for patients. Attorney Gardella was interviewed for his insights into how a possible change to the Restatement will impact PFAS litigation.
