CMBG3 Volunteers Give Back For Earth Day 2021

Apr 26, 2021 | Community Involvement

This year to celebrate Earth Day, CMBG3’s Boston office supported the efforts of the non-profit green Cambridge, for which Attorney Suzy Englot serves as the President of the Board. Green Cambridge is an organization formed to increase education and amplify advocacy on environmental issues in Cambridge, Massachusetts. One of the group’s most successful projects is the Hurley Street Farm, a backyard generously donated to us in East Cambridge/Somerville that has been transformed into an exciting example of urban agriculture. The farm hosts volunteer groups most of the year to help out with whatever needs to be done on site at the moment (moving mulch, watering, planting, weeding, etc.).

The CMBG3 volunteers spent Saturday, April 24, 2021 on site at the Hurley Street Farm building benches, planting vegetables, and spruced up the signage for the planters.

CMBG3 is committed to supporting our community and giving back through out CMBG3 Cares program, an initiative that ensures that every month, our team members have a way to volunteer their time to our community or make a contribution in some way to those in need. Every month, CMBG3 Cares chooses a “theme” by which to focus our charitable and community initiatives. If you would like more information about our community and charitable giving programs, please contact John Gardella (jgardella@cmbg3.com), or visit us at our CMBG3 Cares page.
