CMBG3 Team Members Volunteer at Greater Boston Food Bank

Jan 30, 2020 | Community Involvement

On January 29, 2020, several CMBG3 team members from Boston volunteered after work at the Greater Boston Food Bank.  Their assignment was to unpack, sort, box up in proper order and stack on pallets packages of donated meat and fish items that would be delivered to pantries, churches, and homeless shelters throughout Massachusetts.  The CMBG3 team managed to complete 269 boxes of proteins, which amounted to 9,414 pounds of food.  This amount of food will go to serve 7,846 meals – enough to feed a family of four for almost two entire years!!

In Massachusetts alone, 1 in 10 families report needing some sort of help from organizations to feed their family.  1 in 9 children in the state do not have enough food to eat on a daily basis.  Our firm’s theme for January 2020 through CMBG3 Cares was homelessness, and we hope that our efforts in some small part helped those in need of meals.

CMBG3 is committed to supporting our community and giving back through out CMBG3 Cares program, an initiative that ensures that every month, our team members have a way to volunteer their time to our community or make a contribution in some way to those in need.
