Karlene Manley

Overview

Karlene Manley is a Partner at CMBG3 Law and is licensed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Karlene has extensive experience handling individual cases in state and federal court and managing thousands of cases in her capacity as national coordinating counsel for asbestos and products liability litigation. Karlene handles a variety of litigation including products liability, toxic torts, including asbestos and benzene, per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), premises liability, and construction matters.

Karlene handles complex litigation with a focus on problem-solving and strategic planning. Karlene works closely with clients, listening to their goals and business to develop strategies best suited for the individual needs of the client. Karlene employs practical and creative solutions to counsel her clients on current and future litigation with an eye towards the bigger picture.

Karlene has prior experience working on National Coordinating Counsel defenses for global corporations, and it is her experience that makes her an extremely valuable talent for the firm’s clients. She has extensive experience researching and drafting dispositive motions and pleadings as well as conducting depositions of parties and fact witnesses. She has appeared before both state and federal courts, and state administrative agencies.

Prior to joining CMBG3, Karlene worked as an associate, law clerk and paralegal at a Boston-based law firm for over sixteen years, where she focused her practice on toxic tort defense, including asbestos, talc, and benzene cases. Karlene is a respected litigator in Massachusetts for her outside-the-box legal thinking and persuasive arguments before courts.
