Overview
K. Daria Afshar is an Associate Attorney and Public Policy Specialist at CMBG3 Law. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and is a registered lobbyist in Massachusetts.
Prior to joining CMBG3, Daria spent six years in the Massachusetts State Legislature working for State Senator Patrick O’Connor as his Legislative Director and General Counsel. In this role, Daria was instrumental in passing several laws, including landmark legislation known as Dana’s Law, which protects individuals with disabilities living in group homes. In addition to her fluency in legislative procedure and local, state, and federal public policy, which Daria brings to CMBG3’s Government Relations team, Daria is a litigator for CMBG3 for toxic torts matters.
In her spare time, Daria enjoys hiking and skiing across New England, engaging in local grassroots political campaigns, spending time with her father, and exploring all that Boston has to offer.
