About CMBG³
Our Purpose
Why We Exist
Most law firms wait for the call. We work to avoid it coming.
CMBG³ was built on a belief that legal counsel can do more than respond to risk — it can anticipate, interrupt, and prevent it. We work at the intersection of law, science, and business, where the stakes are highest, and the complexity demands more than legal instinct alone.
We exist to protect enterprises facing challenges that don’t have easy answers: toxic product litigation, environmental liability, regulatory scrutiny, and emerging science. The companies navigating these pressures need counsel with the insight to see what’s coming, the depth to understand what it means, and the judgment to know what to do about it.
That is the standard we hold ourselves to. And it is the reason we exist.
Legal counsel that anticipates, aligns, and acts.
Our Vision
We believe legal counsel should be a strategic advantage — not a cost of doing business. The firms that thrive in complex, regulated environments are rarely the ones that respond fastest to problems. They are the ones who see around corners, make smarter decisions earlier, and carry less uncertainty into every situation. That is the kind of counsel we aspire to provide.
Our Mission
CMBG³ combines legal mastery, scientific depth, and business instinct to help companies facing complex litigation and regulatory risk do three things:
Anticipate
Identifying risk before it escalates, through deep data analysis, regulatory fluency, and 25+ years of national trial experience.
Align
Ensuring legal strategy moves in step with business priorities, financial realities, and stakeholder expectations.
Act
Delivering outcomes that hold up — in court, in negotiations, and in the future.
We counsel corporations across industries regulated by the FDA, EPA, ADA, and OSHA — in product liability, environmental, and toxic tort matters where science, medicine, and law converge. Our national platform means a consistent strategy, disciplined execution, and a single accountable team, coast to coast.
Where legal mastery meets business instinct. Three steps ahead.
How We Work
Built differently. On purpose.
CMBG³ was founded to challenge the conventions of traditional legal practice — in how we counsel clients, how we structure our teams, and how we define success. That challenge begins inside the firm.
We are a diverse, independently owned practice where leadership reflects the clients and communities we serve. Inclusion is not a program here — it is a condition of how we think. Different perspectives sharpen strategy, and we have built a culture that requires intellectual honesty over comfort and collaboration over competition.
Our values are not aspirational. They are operational.
Extreme Ownership
We hold ourselves to high standards and follow through — on commitments to clients, to each other, and to outcomes. When something is hard, we say so. When something goes wrong, we own it. Discipline and accountability are non-negotiable here.
Disruptive Innovation
We question assumptions — including our own. We apply creativity, data, and deep expertise to shape better outcomes, not just navigate existing ones. The legal industry is changing; we intend to lead that change.
Client Empowerment
Our job is to give clients clarity, confidence, and control. We communicate proactively, anticipate needs, and translate complex risk into decisions executives can act on. Our clients should never feel like passengers.
Trusted & Resilient Team
We win together. That means sharing credit, telling hard truths, and relying on each other under pressure. The trust we build internally is the same trust we bring to every client relationship — and it starts with making sure every voice in the room is heard.
These values guide every decision, shape every engagement, and define what clients and colleagues can expect from CMBG³ — every day.

Get in TouchBeyond the Practice
We believe a law firm's responsibility extends beyond the work it takes on.
Since the firm’s founding, CMBG³ has operated on the belief that legal excellence and community responsibility belong together. Through CMBG³ Cares, our team comes together every month to volunteer, contribute, and support the causes and organizations that make our communities stronger — driven by the people who make up this firm, not by mandate.
We support a broad range of charitable causes, from homelessness and children’s welfare to education, health, and social equity.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
At CMBG³, We don’t treat diversity as a policy. We treat it as a condition of doing good work.
We have built a firm where different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences are part of how we think, how we challenge assumptions, and how we serve clients facing complex, high-stakes situations. Inclusion means that every person on this team has a genuine path forward — and that their voice shapes the work we do together.

Diversity is a discipline
— and one we take seriously.
Access to quality legal representation should never come down to what someone can afford.
At CMBG³, pro bono work is part of how we practice law — taken seriously, resourced properly, and approached with the same commitment we bring to other matters on our docket. Our goal is to make the individuals and families we represent pro bono, feel empowered, represented and that justice can be on their side.
We are deliberate about connecting our pro bono work to our broader community and diversity efforts, because access to justice, equity, and community are, in the end, the same conversation.
Our commitment, in numbers
