Overview
Touré J. Ohene is an associate at CMBG³ Law and a member of the firm’s Products Liability group, where he focuses his practice on the defense of silicosis and other complex products liability matters. He represents manufacturers, insurers, employers, and corporate clients in high-exposure litigation and assists clients through all stages of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement, and trial preparation.
Prior to joining CMBG³ Law, Touré practiced insurance defense and general civil litigation at several California law firms. His experience includes representing national and regional employers, healthcare entities, corporate clients, public agencies, and insurance carriers in matters involving premises liability, workplace incidents, contract disputes, business-related claims, and other complex liability issues.
Touré has taken and defended depositions of employees, supervisors, corporate representatives, fact witnesses, and experts, including medical professionals. He also has experience drafting and arguing dispositive and non-dispositive motions, handling discovery disputes, conducting factual investigations, and collaborating with clients and experts to develop litigation strategies.
Touré was born in Haiti and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Sports, as well as a master’s degree in Public Administration, before earning his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. He is admitted to practice in California and is a member of the Haitian Lawyers Association, Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association, and Beverly Hills Bar Association. He is a native speaker of Haitian Creole and conversational in French.
Outside of the office, Touré enjoys working out, reading, and taking his puppies on walks.
