Harshita K. Ganesh

Harshita earned her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as a Senior Editor on the American Criminal Law Review and published two articles on emerging intersections of law and technology — including a widely cited piece on deepfake child exploitation material and a post-Dobbs analysis of women’s constitutional rights. Her scholarship has been credited in Professor Victoria Nourse’s work published in the Iowa Law Review. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and California, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the District of Massachusetts and the Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

A recognized thought leader on artificial intelligence in the legal industry, Harshita leads the firm’s AI Committee and has published extensively on AI accountability and vendor risk in Law360, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, and Corporate Counsel. She has spoken at the WIPL Conference on Legal Technology and AI Innovation, ALM’s General Counsel Conference on AI Risk Mitigation for General Counsel, and spoke at ARMA’s InfoNext annual conference on AI and information governance. She has also made several podcast appearances and taught several CLEs on the AI regulatory space and future issues.

Before pursuing law, Harshita earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Biochemical Engineering from KU Leuven in Belgium, where she conducted original laboratory research on engineering protein expression. She brings that same analytical rigor to her legal practice. Prior to joining CMBG³, she gained experience as a summer associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan and as a legal intern with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
