On October 9, 2020, CMBG³’s Brendan Gaughan, Eric Robbie and Tori Paiva participated in the 2nd Annual Take a Swing FORE ALS Golf Tournament in Fall River, MA. Proceeds raised as part of the tournament support the David J. Machado Memorial Fund, which was established to honor the life of David Machado, who passed away from ALS in 2018. The Memorial Fund makes direct contributions to ALS Therapy Development Institute in Cambridge, MA, which is the only non-profit research lab in the world that is solely dedicated to ALS research.
CMBG³ was honored to make a contribution to this amazing cause and show support by having three team members participate in the event. In its first year, the golf tournament raised nearly $27,000, which was used by ALS Therapy Development Institute to purchase much needed lab supplies and equipment.
CMBG³ is committed to supporting our community and giving back through out CMBG³ Cares program, an initiative that ensures that every month, our team members have a way to volunteer their time to our community or make a contribution in some way to those in need.
