Amaran also oversees Government Relations at the firm, Amaran analyzes policy issues critical to CMBG³’s practice areas, develops government relations strategies for clients, and advocates on legislative priorities at the federal and state level. She maintains active relationships with key legislators and agency members and serves as a registered lobbyist.

Known for her ability to connect legal strategy with broader business impact, she brings a perspective shaped by deep exposure to financial analysis, policy frameworks, and executive-level marketing strategy—enabling clients to navigate complex challenges with clarity and confidence.

Amaran’s global perspective is rooted in a career that spans continents and institutions. Before joining CMBG³, she worked in Geneva, Switzerland for Mandat International — a foundation with special consultative status to the United Nations — and served in the office of the late Senator Edward Kennedy, focusing on constituent services in Veterans Affairs, Workers’ Compensation, Social Security, and Medicare. She has since spent more than two decades in the legal industry, developing deep expertise in client strategy, relationship management, and complex litigation environments.
