Lauren K. Camire

Overview

Lauren K. Camire is a Senior Counsel at CMBG3 Law and is licensed in Massachusetts.

Attorney Camire works on one of CMBG3’s National Coordinating Council teams for asbestos and talc litigation. She has extensive experience researching and drafting dispositive motions and pleadings as well as conducting depositions of parties and fact witnesses. She has appeared before both state and federal courts, and state administrative agencies.

Prior to joining CMBG3 Attorney Camire worked as an associate at two Boston law firms practicing employment law and toxic tort defense. She also previously served on the Massachusetts Asbestos Litigation Executive Committee and Discovery Committee. In these roles, she was responsible for drafting global motions on behalf of the defense group to help structure the asbestos docket. She also served as the point-person for the Court-appointed Special Master in over two hundred active asbestos cases in Massachusetts as a member of Defendants’ Liaison Counsel.

Attorney Camire earned her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law in 2016. During her 2L and 3L years, she was the Chair of Law Students for Reproductive Justice, now known as If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice and was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus. She also worked as a law clerk at the ACLU-Women’s Rights Project in Manhattan, which was established in 1971 by Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. In this role, Attorney Camire’s work focused on combating pregnancy discrimination. As part of her internship, she led a national research and advocacy project for breast-feeding accommodations during the bar examination.

When away from the office, Attorney Camire enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cheering on her alma mater Michigan State University.
